I do not regret having implants at all.  It made me feel so much better about myself.

My big regret is I had them and then went on to gain 100 pounds.  I had recently lost weight prior to having them, and the surgeon warned me about regaining again.  I have a consult today but not for breast issues, however, since I am paying for the consult, I am going to ask if that weight gain has caused them to drop too low.  I don't know; I just know looking at photos of others my implantsare low.  I'm really glad I had them though.

Make sure you get the size you want because one of the most common regrets post BA is women wish they had gone a little larger.  My surgeon was very conservative.  Another surgeon I saw wanted to go even larger than what I ended up choosing.  I went larger than my surgeon recommended, not much at all, but smaller than what the second surgeon recommended.

Daisie, so do you think you might have been happier with the bigger ones that the second surgeon recommended?

Yes I would have been happier with the larger size.  The second surgeon was not recommending anything really large either.  At 5'9" and with my hip width the 2nd surgeon thought I could carry more.  He even had me try on larger sizes but was quick to say it made me took matronly/grandmaish.  My surgeon wanted me to go with 375, and I ended up choosing 425 with the 2nd surgeon wanting 475 or possibly 500.  I am definitely glad I did not choose 375.  My middle daughter's friend had recently gotten implants and immediately was sorry about how small she chose to go.  She did not want people to really "notice."  She said once she was finished having children revising the size was the first thing she was going to do.  I think in most cases women underestimate how great it makes us feel, especially if we were flat chested.

I had a breast lift with saline augmentation 400ccs. under muscle.. I am glad I was conservative in my choice.. I think less complications plus.. clothing could become an issue..I think if too big.. These things feel heavy.. i couldnt imagine them larger...

I work in an office, I like to run.. triple DDD would be impossible to run with comfortably... I am not even sure what size these puppies are now. I am wearing 36Dor 34DD Victoria secret bra but I think they're sizes run funny

I didnt want my boobs larger than my head..I also wanted to keep in mind when I am older ..what they would look like.. I wanted to look natural.. not porn star. You have to keep in mind.. your frame..too.. Im 5'11 size 10/12..I wanted to look slender and long.. not top heavy.

No real complications.. I am only 5 week out from Plastics...

Michelle, do you think that is something that you will get used to in time?  That's really not something I had thought of.  I've kind of gotten used to my boobs weighing less as I have gradually lost weight.   hmmm... I'm not a runner (bad knees)  but I do hoof pretty fast on my walks.  Thanks for your insights.
